The Hall

Welcome to the private home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and their family, now an exceptional, exclusive-use retreat in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

Stay

Surrounded by ancient moorland on the banks of the River Wharfe, The Hall at Bolton Abbey was originally built in the 1300s as an Augustinian Priory gatehouse.  It sits within a landscape immortalised by artist JMW Turner, who famously painted The Hall’s Abbey ruins in the early 1800s.
